Short story:
Cursor AI IDE - at least on EndeavourOS (Arch Linux distro) it runs like shit... And I don't vibe well with people behind the Cursor.
↓
VSCode with Claude Code plugin - it is definitely better but same electron based editor problems and you feel like kissing Microsoft's ass :)
↓
Zed editor - damn this one feels good but only until when you need to use for web based projects like Angular. I mean LSPs do not work at all for Angular especially.
↓
Neovim + Claude Code - this one is like a combination made in heaven. Works extremely well and you can configure everything yourself. It took me few attemps to setup Neovim from scratch but with the help of Claude Code here we are https://github.com/moonc4ke/nvim-config
Highly recommended to setup Neovim from scraft for anyone who wants have fun while programming.
